In the beginning, when WiFi became popular, few people had access to the internet in their homes. Now more than 86% of homes in the US have internet routers with built-in WiFi. If you own or manage a coffee shop, you know customers have the expectation that fast and free internet access will be offered. Many remote employees or laptop entrepreneurs utilize coffee shops as temporary work spaces with better coffee.

Naming your own WiFi network can be fun, and you can, literally, call it whatever you want. So why not get creative with the naming? Your only limitation is the number of characters you can use. The standard Service Set Identifier (SSID) can handle only 32 characters including spaces.
