About Andrew

A graduate in Bachelors of the International Culinary School at the Art Institutes, Andrew Steifer has spent his days obsessing over everything food and drink. While working towards his Wine Certification, he started writing his own Food Truck Blog focused on reviewing all the mobile vendors of Minnesota. Being the first person to stubbornly pursue a blog like this for their newly budding street food scene, it's safe to say Andrew's love of food trucks is almost dangerous, at least to his wallet. He's been writing since 2013, drinking since 2010, and consuming every delicious morsel he can find every chance he gets.

Well I bought a truck off them, within a year and 3000KM it’s in need of 6k worth of repairs to the truck. As far as the equipment within a year the fryer broke, the fridge broke, the plumbing needed fixing, the water pumps stopped working and needed replacing. The serving window constantly leaks.
I have talked to other people who have bought trucks from them, and they have also had multiple equipment failures, leaking windows, and issues with their trucks.
I’m sure that I’ll get an aggressive attack from the owner for posting this (I have talked to one other person who posted a negative review…and lest just say the owner was not happy), they are all charm when you are buying but turned nasty to me as soon as I brought problems to their attention. Saying things such as “You can try to sue me, many have…but none have succeeded.” I think that line might tell you all you need to know.
I just want people to be aware that they may not be getting the quality they expect from this company. If you are thinking of buying from them, do some research and talk to owners of their trucks to see if they would recommend them. I might be one of a very few that have issues, but everyone I have talked to have issues with their trucks. People also seem to be afraid to voice their opinions in the open…which could tell you something.
I personally would not, I would look at other options. Hindsight being 20/20 I wish I had bought my truck from anyone but them as at the moment I have a year old truck I can’t afford to fix.
A $90,000 object that has brought me nothing but misery from the first month we owned it…from a company that doesn’t care that they are ruining peoples lives
