Does McDonald’s Still Serve All Day Breakfast?
McDonald’s customers have enjoyed All Day Breakfast servings since it was launched in 2015. This allowed you to order breakfast food no matter the time of day a store. But when the global health crisis hit in 2020, McDonald’s suspended the All Day Breakfast in an effort to streamline their menu and operations.
Will the All Day Breakfast ever make a comeback? The answer is: it’s complicated. Some locations have already brought back All Day Breakfast. Other locations still don’t offer it. The best option is to call ahead to the local branch to confirm or check the mobile app.
If you’re craving an Egg McMuffin, hotcakes, or a Big Breakfast, they’re available at all locations until 10:30 AM. It’s also worth noting McCafe menu items are available all day at all locations.
Is McDonald’s still doing 2 for $6?
Unfortunately, the 2 for $6 Mix and Match deal at McDonald’s is no longer available. It was discontinued in January 2023.
In case you’re wondering, here’s what was available on the 2 for $6 deal. You could select any two of the following items: Big Mac, Quarter Pounder with Cheese, Filet-0-Fish, and the 10-piece Chicken McNuggets.
Did McDonald’s prices go up?
McDonald’s has always been known for affordable restaurant. While they are committed to providing fast food with affordable prices, McDonald’s has increased their menu prices in 2022 and 2023.
In February 2023, McDonald’s announced price increases for 5 of their menu items. On average, prices went up by 7% for the Big Mac, 25% for the fries, and a mouth-dropping 28% for the McChicken.
The primary reason for cited for the menu price increases was due to rising food and energy costs. Surprisingly though, despite the markup customers continue to support McDonald’s. In fact, rising costs in the broader restaurant industry have seemed to benefit the burger chain. In 2022, the company noted customer visits increased by 3.8%. Since almost every other restaurant is also increasing menu prices, it’s leading more price sensitive diners the Golden Arches.
What is the cheapest Value Meal at McDonald’s?
Ever wondered what the cheapest value meal you can get at McDonald’s is? As mentioned earlier, the $1 $2 $3 Dollar Menu is your best bet for the cheapest meal.
For $1, you can choose from the following:
- Sausage Burrito
- McChicken Sandwich
- Cheeseburger
- Soft drink
It’s either choosing to get a Sausage Burrito alone for $1 or getting the McChicken Sandwich, cheeseburger, and 1 soft drink altogether. Ordering two or three of these menu items is about the lowest cost way to cover lunch or dinner that I know about.
Are McDonald’s prices the same everywhere?
No matter where you travel, McDonald’s is extremely consistent in taste and presentation. But not always in price. Due to McDonald’s global footprint, not all locations have the same menu prices or even accept the same currency.
If you want to know where you can get the cheapest Big Mac in the US, it’s in Mississippi where it is priced at only $3.91. The most expensive? Go to Hawaii where the exact same Big Mac is sold for $5.31.
Regardless of price differences, a staggering 1.5 million Big Macs are sold daily in the United States, which adds up to $550 million in annual sales.

McDonald’s prices also go way up at places like airports due to rent, commission, and overhead at airports. Franchisees also have the power to increase the price of any menu item. So there are a variety of factors influencing the cost of a hamburger at McDonald’s.
According to my research, 95% of all McDonald’s locations are franchised. Total revenue generated by McDonald’s in 2021 was $23.22 billion with 37.5% of that revenue coming from restaurants in the United States.
As a child of the 90s myself, I grew up going to McDonald’s. It was a regular destination for birthday parties and iconic characters like Ronald McDonald, Grimace, and Officer Big Mac were familiar sights during the advertising breaks of Saturday morning cartoons. It’s pretty incredible how McDonald’s has managed to remain relevant and grow over all these decades.
I hope you find this guide helpful in planning your next McDonald’s visit. Don’t forget to use eligible coupons or order value meals to get the best possible deal.
