We started the Twisted Trolley with the idea of how much fun it is to serve ice cream. We are extremely well received wherever we go, and people light up and smile when we hand them one of our cups, cones, floats, or flights. We specialize in a system called Flavor Burst. It is a soft serve vanilla ice cream with a ribbon of flavor that wraps around the edge of the ice cream. We have 8 different flavors and an understock of 4 more flavors depending on the season or event. Flavor Burst offers over 35 different flavors to please any palate.
Our customer service is amazing! We place a chocolate kiss on the bottom of every cone and a small cookie on top. In addition, we offer FREE glitter and sprinkles.
We are permitted in Maricopa County and Yavapai County, both in Arizona. We have been a success everywhere we go, Food Truck Fridays, Church Celebrations, Farmers Markets, Pickleball Tournaments, Birthday Parties, and Festivals. We hit it out of the ball park at Spring Training in Peoria and they asked us to consider being part of the entire Spring Training Season next year. We recently attended FOODSTOCK at Peoria Sports Complex with over 50 food trucks, 10,000 people, and only 10 awards. Twisted Trolley walked away with 2 awards, BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE and BEST PRESENTATION!
We have recently moved from Maricopa County to Yavapai County and the reception has been the same; Bluegrass Festival, RV Resorts, Retirement Communities, 4th of July Celebration, and School Events.
Unfortunately due to health issues we are selling the Twisted Trolley, LLC. The path to success has been created, it just needs someone younger to take the reins. We are happy to help with the training to get the new owners off the ground.
The Twisted Trolley was custom built in Tempe, AZ by Prime Design Food Trucks. It is a 14’ x 7’ x 7’ dual axle trailer, 3 serving windows, custom lighting inside, outside, and underneath the trailer. Upgraded 15,000 BTU air conditioner, 6 gallon electric water heater, 3 compartment sinks, electric water pump, handwashing station, 12kw Onan generator (a beast), Stoelting F231-3812P-YG2 Soft Serve Machine (2 hoppers, w/3 spigots for a twist), Flavor Burst Stoelting STL-80SS.
We have kept up on the maintenance for the generator, trailer and the truck.
We have only used the Twisted Trolley for soft serve cones, cups, and floats. Other ideas would be smoothies, frozen yogurts, ice cream cookie sandwiches, DOLE products, vegan products, specialty floats.
In addition to the trailer, we also have a 2020 Dodge RAM for sale.
