Introducing the NS 72 SWT from New South Smoker. This smoker trailer has 72 inches of grilling space on steel racks to cook just about anything you want. This is a cost-effective option for folks looking to get into catering, competition BBQ, or simply want to feed an enormous family and be crowned grill master of their block.
Watch a video walk-through of this smoker below. This trailer comes standard with 15 inch tires and a 3,500 pound axles. This means the trailer is built for the hauling smoothly on the road. Even if you don’t intend to travel far, you’ll appreciate how easy it is to tow even on the freeway.
One popular feature of this trailer is the wood boxes installed in the front of the trailer. These boxes can be used to store a cooler, wood for smoking, or cooking utensils.
At the one minute and twenty second mark of the video, we open the doors. These doors come with a built-in clamp so you don’t need to worry about them opening while driving. As you can see these doors open all the way open so you can take full advantage of every inch of grilling space. You can pull the grills out to reach your meat as well.
There’s a steel plate system that runs all the way across the bottom of the trailer. You can lift these up when you need to get in there to clean the drains. There are thermostats installed on each side of the trailer so you can keep the cook temperatures consistent throughout. This is a competition BBQ quality unit.
At the rear of the machine, you’ll notice a fire box. When you open the door, you’ll see there’s a removable grate system you can take in and out to clean. From there you can start your logs or insert charcoal depending on your preference. You can easily adjust the air flow and temperature of this unit.
Finally, take a look at the warmer box located in the upper exterior of the unit. You can see there’s a gap between the warmer box and fire box. This warmer box is positioned this way so you don’t overcook food you don’t want cooked. Although, we do give you the flexibility to use the warmer box to cook food or sides depending on your needs as demonstrated in the walk through.
